Petr Baran
CEO
Petr Baran is an executive with over 20 years of experience in senior management positions in leading European energy companies. He started his career in finance as a stock trader and has also worked in the public sector.
He was CEO at MERO Pipeline GmbH, managing the Ingolstadt-Kralupy-Litvinov oil pipeline. Later, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Hutní montáže, a.s., focusing on large-scale construction projects in the energy sector.
From 2010 to 2016, Mr. Baran was Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CEZ Group Bulgaria EAD and a member of the Board of Directors of CEZ Bulgaria Elektro EAD and TPP Bulgaria EAD, as well as Chairman of the Board of Free Energy Project Oreshets EAD.
Currently, Mr. Baran is an entrepreneur who invests in renewable energy and provides consulting services in the sector.
